Large DC Improvement Retrofit for a Global Social Media Company
CBRE | Direct Line led a two-year, live-site retrofit program for a large social media company with infrastructure that was no longer able to meet growing capacity demand and increasingly complex compliance requirements. The program involved replacing aging pathways, installing larger trays, refreshing fiber trunks and recabling production rooms—all without disrupting active traffic. The complete retrofit involved room-by-room sequencing of over 115,000 meters of fiber, 1,000 switches and 2,000 custom-length Cat6 cables. Our on-time delivery and ability to exceed quality benchmarks helped our client achieve greater efficiency and operational performance.
