SUMMARY

IT coordinator is responsible for providing support of daily operations across all Direct Line sites, maintaining computer systems and other technologies in a business setting, the duties include working with IT company and other IT technicians to install hardware, software and troubleshoot computer issues, responding to IT questions from employees, maintain and improve the technical systems and security in collaboration with IT company. Maintains organization’s information technology systems and networks and provides training and technical and administrative support. Compiles performance data,learns and applies new technologies, reports on trends, provides recommendations on potential improvements, and communicates with end users, partners, and vendors.

  • Coordinate and monitor the IT ticketing system in collaboration with IT company
  • Assist and track call-ins, emails, or live chat with technical difficulties
  • Provide computer hardware and software support for workstations, mobile devices, and communication systems (including network, data & phone lines, phones system, WIFI system, conference system, etc.)
  • Place orders and track inventory of computer hardware and installation tools
  • Maintain working components through repair or replacement
  • Coordinate purchasing activities with IT vendors
  • Anticipate and report the cost of replacing or updating computer items, create quarterly budget reports
  • Implement security measures in collaboration with IT company
  • Monitor security certificates and company compliance of requirements
  • Regularly evaluating our IT systems to ensure they meet the necessary demands
  • Assisting with network administration tasks
  • Ensuring data storage is safe and secure
  • Educating coworkers about network security and best practices for computer usage
  • Supporting the day-to-day operations of our computer network
  • Coordinate IT onboarding and offboarding, shipping, tracking, and collecting company equipment
  • Coordinate IT related projects and activities in collaboration with IT company
  • Assist multiple office’s locations in collaboration with IT company for server room set up, conference rooms, IT storage rooms and supplies
  • Conduct hardware and software audits to ensure compliance, in collaboration with other departments, ensure the systems are up to date
  • Plan timeline and resources needed for project
  • System Administration Support and Management
  • Assist with office tasks as needed as office manager back up support.

 

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • College’s degree with Business knowledge
  • IT certification is desired.
  • 3+ years experience in IT Support in a professional environment

 

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Expert level in Microsoft Office Applications, including Microsoft Project Management
  • Working knowledge of relevant operating systems, software, and programming
