Tax and Accounting Supervisor

SUMMARY
Direct Line is a high growth global technology services company with primary focus in providing design, integration, installation, maintenance, and managed services to well-known data centres and technology companies. Direct Line is backed by private equity firm and headquartered in Fremont, California with additional locations in US, Asia-Pacific and Europe. We are looking for a highly energetic, result oriented, passionate, and hands-on Tax & Accounting Officer with a desire to join a growing team. The person should be self-starter, adaptable with attentive to detail and able to work with minimal supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle tax computation and monthly/quarterly tax filing (Corporate Income Tax, VAT, WHT, DST, etc.) for DLI PH
• Handle DLI PH bookkeeping and APAC shared-service functions with CMiC
• Work with DLI PH admin to support PH business operation
• Assist in APAC CMiC rollout
• Basic company secretary duties for DLI PH
• Other finance / ad-hoc duties as assigned by APAC FC

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in accounting/finance or related discipline
• PH CPA (preferred) / accounting diploma holder. Previous audit experience is a plus.
• Solid knowledge in PH tax rules and previous experience in handling tax computation, tax admin and tax filing in the PH (a must)
• No less than 5 years of accounting experience in audit / commercial firm, out of which at least 3 years of experience in handling tax
• Good understanding of PH GAAP / IFRS.
• Experience in keeping a full set of accounts
